Before applying, review all Student Board information on this page and familiarize yourself with the Campaign Rules. Understanding the expectations, responsibilities, and campaign guidelines will help you put your best foot forward.

Advisor Attestation

All candidates must have their school advisor complete an Advisor Attestation Form before submitting their application. This form confirms that:

  • Is a current, active member of TPSA.
  • Is in good standing with TPSA, including compliance with membership dues and eligibility requirements.
  • Is in compliance with school policies, including academic and disciplinary requirements.
  • Has upheld the standards outlined in the TPSA Bylaws and Code of Conduct.

Please coordinate with your advisor early to ensure the form is completed before the application deadline.

Apply Online by March 30th, 11:59 PM

This year the application will feature a statement for the ballot selling themselves, and a form for the advisor to fill out attesting to their character / permission to participate.

Tabling / Campaigning on Tuesday March 31st

Students running for office can table and campaign all day Tuesday March 31st at the State Conference.

Election

All students will be able to cast their votes from Wednesday April 1st at 10am up until April 2nd at 9:10am during closing ceremonies.

Swearing In

New Student Board Members will be sworn in during the Closing Ceremonies.
